Engineer II - Structural Engineering

About the role

Pratt & Whitney India Engineering Center is looking for a highly motivated Structures Engineer to join our Aftermarket & Sustainment Engineering, Commercial Repairs team. This position involves analyzing repairs to ensure they meet original equipment manufacturing (OEM) requirements, supporting customer safety, cost, and reliability objectives.

What you'll do

• Perform structural assessments of repairs to commercial engine components with minimal guidance
• Participate on multi-disciplinary teams to develop design solutions that meet design and life requirements
• Build expertise in Integrated Product Development (IPD), Structures Engineering Knowledge System (EKS), and the Product Design Review process
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and implement innovative solutions

What you need

• 2–8 yrs of experience
• ANSYS
• Structural design
• B.Tech or B.E.

Good to have

• VBA
• Python
