Engineer

About the role

This role places you in a multifunctional design team, carrying out tactical problem solving in a fast-paced design environment with frequent interaction with engineering functions and personnel. This position requires comprehensive analysis, design and development of Ingersoll Rand’s MSG line of multi-staged, integrally geared centrifugal compressors and a means of long-range planning for continuous effective improvement.

What you'll do

• Complete design evaluations include but not limited to dynamic and static simulation of rotating systems, rotor design, gearing and airend evaluation
• The Mechanical Engineer will primarily be responsible for creating and interacting with CAD/CAM models, including drafting and GD&T

• Production Testing & Field Support: Responsible for ensuring the successful mechanical test and field operation of compressors
• Work regularly, dependably and independently

What you need

• 3–5 yrs of experience
