Engineer/Sr. Engineer - Costing (ID 1238)

About the role

Perform process cost validation for forging and machining operations to ensure accuracy in costing. Conduct feasibility studies to determine the technical and economic viability of manufacturing forged components. Prepare RFQs (Request for Quotations) for suppliers and vendors based on project requirements.

What you'll do

• Prepare product process cost breakup for forged components by analysing each stage of the manufacturing process
• Perform process cost validation for forging and machining operations to ensure accuracy in costing
• Conduct feasibility studies to determine the technical and economic viability of manufacturing forged components
• Prepare RFQs (Request for Quotations) for suppliers and vendors based on project requirements
• Review and approve Purchase Orders (POs) based on calculated costs and expected profit margins

What you need

• Costing
• CNC operation
• Lathe operation
• Production planning
• POS
• Any graduate
