Engineering Manager - Advance Development

About the role

This role combines technical leadership, R&D program management, and cross‑functional collaboration to identify, validate and mature new technologies from concept through pilot and hand‑off to product teams. The Advanced Development Leader will shape the technology roadmap, manage internal and external partnerships, and ensure development efforts align to business goals and regulatory requirements.

What you'll do

• Define and execute the technology development roadmap aligned to business strategy and product roadmaps
• Lead ideation, feasibility studies, prototyping, pilot programs and technology demonstrations across electrical, embedded, IoT, sensing, and related domains
• Manage and lead a small cross‑functional technology team (firmware/electrical/mechanical resources) and coordinate with Global Advanced Development teams
• Establish and implement design controls and reproducible validation methods for technology readiness assessments
• Drive technology transfer activities—create handover plans, documentation

What you need
