Environmental Consultant

About the role

We are seeking an Environmental Consultant to join our growing team in this role in AtkinsRéalis Global Technology Centre (GTC); you will collaborate with multidisciplinary technical specialists and contribute to a diverse portfolio of projects. Postgraduate degree qualified in an environmental or related discipline.

What you'll do

• Support the preparation and delivery of Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs), screening/scoping reports, and environmental statements
• Assist in environmental planning and consenting activities, including evidence gathering, baseline studies, and policy review
• Prepare technical sections such as Land Use, Socioeconomics, Environmental Management, and Sustainability
• Conduct desktop research, data analysis, GIS mapping support, and preparation of constraints plans
• Coordinate with internal disciplines (ecology, transport, utilities, planning, air quality, etc.) to compile environmental inputs
