Equity Research Analyst

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Equity Research Analyst with 5–7 years of relevant sell-side equity research experience, preferably covering the Pharma and/or Chemicals sectors. The candidate will be responsible for conducting in-depth fundamental research, developing financial models, evaluating investment opportunities, and generating actionable investment recommendations.

What you'll do

• Track, analyze, and evaluate listed companies across the Pharma and Chemicals sectors
• Conduct detailed fundamental research on companies, business models, financial performance, and growth prospects
• Build and maintain financial models to forecast company performance and assess investment opportunities
• Perform valuation analysis using relevant financial methodologies and industry benchmarks
• Prepare comprehensive equity research reports, sector updates, earnings reviews, and investment recommendations

What you need

• 4–7 yrs of experience
• Equity research
• Financial modelling
• Valuation
• Financial statements
• Financial analysis
• Chartered Accountant or CFA or MBA

Good to have

• CFA
