Executive Director, Asia Corporate Tax

About the role

This role involves leading our 70 person India Corporate Centre Tax team in Mumbai and requires tax technical experience, together with the ability to oversee or contribute to complex tax matters, projects, and strategic initiatives. This team operates as an extension of our global Corporate Tax colleagues across jurisdictions and lines of business.

What you'll do

• Lead, engage, and develop a multidisciplinary team of 70+ tax professionals, accelerating capability building across a junior-heavy population
• Build and sustain a high-performance culture grounded in technical excellence, accountability, collaboration, inclusion, and continuous improvement
• Set clear expectations, role clarity, and measurable outcomes, with regular feedback, coaching, and mentoring
• Drive effective succession planning and development planning to strengthen bench strength and continuity
• Ensure the team has the right skills, capacity, and operating discipline to meet evolving global priorities
