Finance and Accounting Executive

About the role

As an Finance and Accounting Executive, you will play a key role in the Finance team at myKaarma by assisting the Finance & Accounting Manager with day-to-day financial operations. You will be responsible for key activities including bookkeeping, processing and monitoring daily financial transactions, ensuring statutory compliances, managing accounts payable, and assisting in maintaining accurate financial records.

What you'll do

• Maintain accurate books of accounts and ensure timely recording of all financial transactions and ensure proper filing of accounting documents
• Process and verify accounts payable transactions, including vendor invoices, payments, and reconciliations
• Perform bank, vendor, and ledger reconciliations on a regular basis and assist in resolving discrepancies (if any)
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including preparation of schedules and reports
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including GST, TDS, STPI and other applicable regulations

What you need
