Finance and Payroll Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a suitably qualified Finance and Payroll Accountant to provide support to our finance and payroll team based in Ireland. The role will cover a range of finance administration, payroll support, invoicing, and management reporting activities. The ideal candidate will have strong Excel skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while maintaining regular communication with the finance team.

What you'll do

• Enter manually completed timesheets into Excel, capturing employee names, work locations and hours worked
• Data Validation & Payroll Imports
• Validate timesheet and payroll data, identifying discrepancies, duplicates and missing information, including pay and charge rates
• Prepare summaries of outstanding queries and missing data
• Import data into payroll software and reconcile imports to source files to ensure accuracy and completeness
