Finance Manager

About the role

The Finance Manager will support Amgen’s Operations Finance team through financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, variance analysis, and business partnering. This role requires strong knowledge of corporate finance, accounting principles, operational performance management, and financial controls.

What you'll do

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and long-range planning activities for Operations Finance
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and business performance commentary
• Partner with Operations stakeholders to understand cost drivers, risks, opportunities, and business priorities
• Manage expense analysis, cost center reporting, headcount tracking, capital planning, and operational finance support
• Analyze actual results versus budget, forecast, and prior periods, providing clear insights and recommendations
