Finance Manager

About the role

This is a high-ownership finance role that keeps the company running day to day. You will lead our finance operations function and own how money moves through Emergent: what we collect, what we pay, where the cash sits and whether every statutory deadline is met, across our India and US entities.

What you'll do

• Run accounts payable end to end: vendor onboarding and KYC, PR/PO and approval workflows, invoice validation, three-way matching, payment runs and vendor reconciliations
• Manage employee reimbursements, corporate cards and software and subscription spend, and enforce the expense policy and approval matrix
• Own invoicing, collections and receipts across entities, including enterprise and partner billing, and report on ageing, disputes and collection performance
• Reconcile payment gateway and platform settlements against transactions, fees, refunds and chargebacks, and follow up on exceptions
• Track daily cash positions across entities, currencies and bank accounts, produce daily & monthly cash and burn reports to the Management
