What you'll do

• Oversee and review GL accounting activities performed by the operations team, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and policy compliance
• Drive timely resolution of reconciliation exceptions and aged items through effective collaboration with business stakeholders and support teams
• Review month-end close activities, ensuring adherence to timelines, accounting standards, and internal controls
• Partner with business functions and finance teams to provide accounting guidance, resolve queries, and improve financial transparency
• Monitor balance sheet accounts and GL trends, identifying risks, unusual transactions, and opportunities for corrective actions
