Financial Control Accountant

About the role

We’re looking for a Financial Control Accountant, FP&A Lead to join our FP&A team within the North America business. The primary purpose of this role is to lead forecasting, budgeting and variance analysis activity, with ownership of the annual budget, quarterly forecasts, forecast models, management reporting and the communication of financial conclusions to senior stakeholders.

What you'll do

• Report into the FP&A Manager and work closely with the Head of Finance - North America Markets and senior stakeholders across the business
• Review budget and forecast submissions, challenge assumptions and outputs, and resolve gaps or inconsistencies with relevant stakeholders
• Analyse monthly ledger data and performance against budget and forecast to identify underlying drivers, trends, variances, risks and opportunities
• Act as the primary FP&A point of contact for budget, forecast and performance queries from the wider business
• Prepare ad-hoc reports and analysis to support decision-making and respond to emerging business priorities
