Financial Controller

About the role

The Financial Controller is responsible for the overall financial management and accounting operations of the hotel, ensuring accuracy, discipline, and transparency across all financial activities. Reporting to the General Manager, this role oversees day-to-day accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, cash management, and internal controls, while supporting operational decision-making and overall hotel performance.

What you'll do

• Support all pre-opening financial setup, including systems, chart of accounts, banking structure, and financial workflows
• Oversee all hotel accounting functions including accounts payable, receivable, payroll coordination, general ledger, and financial reporting
• Prepare monthly financial statements, forecasts, and annual budgets, maintaining accurate and transparent P&L reporting
• Lead the annual budgeting process and ongoing forecasting, ensuring alignment with hotel operations and ownership expectations
• Act as a key business partner to the General Manager and department leaders, providing financial insight to support operational decision-making
