About the role

The Financial Controls Oversight (FCO) Team within the Corporate Functions & Financing Business Risk Management (CF BRM) organization provides oversight and management of State Street’s Global SOX Compliance program, ensuring financial reporting risk is managed in accordance with applicable SEC regulations.

What you'll do

• Oversight of the Company’s Internal Control over Financial Reporting compliance to Sarbanes-Oxley requirements
• Review and assess the significance to SOX controls and materiality of all non-SOX testing program owned issues that are identified by First, Second
• Evaluate SOX controls deficiencies under PCAOB standards for forming quarterly and annual SOX opinion and document in memo format the assessment of the deficiencies
• Partner with external audit teams to understand audit requirements and PCAOB focus areas for timely integration into SOX program management
• Participate in the preparation of monthly SOX effectiveness reporting and SOX control deficiency reporting
