About the role
The successful candidate will be instrumental writing firmware and different use-cases on camera. S/he should be expert in device driver and application development on Linux platform. A deep understanding and expertise of computer vision is appreciated. A good knowledge of different AI / ML algorithms on computer vision such that s/he can make changes in the existing algorithms.
What you'll do
- Develop robust, efficient firmware for embedded systems (e.g., bare-metal or RTOS-based) to initialize hardware, manage peripherals, and communicate with other systems
- Collaborate closely with hardware engineers to ensure seamless operation between code and physical hardware
- Proficiency in C, C++, Python
- Port new AI models on the platform for different requirements
- Perform rigorous debugging using emulators and analyzers; validate system functionality via automated testing and simulation tools
