Fitter - Mechanical Assembly (Apprenticeship)

About the role

Perform mechanical assembly and fitting of machine parts, components, and subassemblies. Carry out drilling, tapping, grinding, deburring, filing, and other fitting operations as required. Assemble mechanical components such as shafts, bearings, couplings, gears, brackets, and fixtures. Perform machine alignment, levelling, and adjustment of mechanical assemblies.

• Identify and report defective components, dimensional deviations, and assembly issues
• Maintain quality standards and follow production schedules
• Follow safety procedures and maintain cleanliness and housekeeping at the workplace
