Fleet Personnel Officer (Ratings Recruitment)

About the role

As a Fleet Personnel Officer (Ratings Recruitment) at BSM, you will engage in crew operations, serving as a key link between ship and shore. You will be overseeing crew planning, recruitment, rotation, and development while ensuring compliance with maritime regulations and cost efficiency to support safe and continuous vessel operations.

What you'll do

• Identify and build a pool of suitable seafarer candidates through continuous market mapping and sourcing activities
• Monitor local and regional maritime labor markets, including salary benchmarks and industry hiring practices
• Execute recruitment campaigns and promotional activities to attract qualified seafarers across all ratings ranks
• Source, screen, interview, and shortlist candidates as per vessel manning requirements
• Introduce and recommend suitable candidates to Fleet Personnel Management for approval and deployment

What you need
