Freight Audit Representative

About the role

The purpose of this role is to investigate, analyze, and validate Freight charges for CTC Business units.The Freight Audit Representative will be involved in creating efficiencies, documenting new processes, and ensuring knowledge is transferred.

What you'll do

• Complete Freight audit on various areas against approved Freight contracts. Issue claims for deficiencies and provide reporting for future prevention of errors
• Ensure carrier is setup correctly to ensure accurate and timely payments are executed
• Integrate analysis with carrier reconciliations with the goal of clearing all eligible unmatched charges as per SOP. Complete month end analysis
• Review duplicate reports, monitor Freight audit source system interface to Peoplesoft; identify true duplicates, causes
• Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives stemming from internal or external sources where Freight Audit is a stakeholder
