GBG Financial Reporting Specialist

About the role

The Financial Reporting Specialist performs daily activities and periodic analyses to ensure the integrity and accuracy of accounting information in SAP and other databases. The role owns key month-end reporting activities, prepares account analyses and analytics, supports Local Finance and cross-functional stakeholders, guides less-experienced analysts, and identifies opportunities to improve end-to-end financial reporting processes.

What you'll do

• Ensure the correct execution of month-end closing procedures and controls, including predefined FRC controls, and maintain the quality of reporting to headquarters
• Perform monthly account analyses in accordance with the predefined account mapping
• Prepare monthly analytics according to the defined schedule and present them when required, including Finance Review and Tax Review meetings
• Contribute to projects and initiatives involving process documentation, FRC, testing, audits, and related activities
• Coordinate with Local Finance on activities within scope, including account analysis, analytics, and M&A-related requirements
