General Accounting Manager

About the role

We are seeking a talented and motivated Accountant to take on a new Accounting Manager role in our Finance Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Pune. This is a key role within the Finance function, responsible for setting up and delivering high-quality accounting and assurance activities to financial controllers and accountants in Europe and across EXA Infrastructure’s footprint.

What you'll do

• Establish, lead, and develop a General Ledger (GL) accounting team of 4+ within the Finance Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Pune
• Own and oversee accurate and timely month-end close processes, ensuring adherence to group timetables and quality standards
• Ensure completion and review of robust balance sheet reconciliations, maintaining strong controls and audit-ready documentation
• Safeguard the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of the Group’s financial records and reporting
• Act as a key point of contact for accounting queries, providing technical guidance and support to internal stakeholders
