About the role

The General Duty Assistant (GDA) is responsible for providing basic patient care, assistance with daily living activities, hygiene support, mobility assistance, and general caregiving services to patients at home, hospitals, or assigned healthcare facilities. The role requires compassion, patience, discipline, professionalism, and adherence to healthcare and company protocols.

What you'll do

• Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding
• Support patients with mobility, walking, transfers, and positioning
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the patient and surrounding area
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to supervisors or family members
