General Manager - Manufacturing | Solar Cell or Module

About the role

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Industrial, Production Engineering or a related discipline, with 18+ years of manufacturing experience and substantial experience in Solar PV Cell or Module Manufacturing. Opportunity to lead large-scale solar manufacturing operations within a growing renewable energy business.

What you'll do

• Drive production planning, shop-floor execution and process optimization to improve OEE, line efficiency, material utilization and manufacturing productivity
• Lead maintenance and engineering teams to improve equipment availability, reliability, preventive maintenance and automation
• Drive manufacturing cost optimization through Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Kaizen, 5S, Six Sigma and continuous improvement initiatives
• Build and develop high-performing production, quality, maintenance and engineering teams, establishing clear KPIs and a culture of accountability
• Lead new production line installations, commissioning, capacity enhancement and ramp-up initiatives, ensuring targeted yield, quality and productivity
