About the role

We are looking for an experienced Plant Head – Chicken Processing to lead the operations of our upcomingSyra Foods at Dera Bassi. The Plant Head will be responsible for the end-to-end operations of the chicken slaughter and processing facility, with ownership of production, yield, quality, food safety, cost, maintenance, manpower, productivity and OTIF

What you'll do

• Lead end-to-end plant operations covering live bird receiving, slaughter
• Own plant performance across production, capacity utilisation, yield
• Productivity, quality and cost
• Drive improvement in live-to-dressed yield, cut-up yield, deboning yield
• And overall product recovery

What you need

• 12–22 yrs of experience
• Supply chain
• Food safety
• Picking and packing
• GMP
• Demand planning
• Safety management
• B.Tech or B.E. or MBA

Good to have

• SOP writing
• MIS reporting
• Statutory compliance
