What you'll do

• Lead the electrical engineering and delivery of high rating static generator excitation systems, ensuring compliance, quality, safety, manufacturability
• Lead electrical engineering for 5,000 A to 10,000 A static excitation systems from specification review to FAT, commissioning, and handover
• Review customer specifications, generator data, field forcing requirements, protection philosophy, grid code expectations
• Size and select excitation transformer, rectifier bridge, thyristors or diodes, fuses, breakers, disconnectors, DC bus bars, field flashing, de-excitation
• Develop and review schematics, single line diagrams, three line diagrams, wiring diagrams, interconnection drawings, cabinet layouts, BOMs, cable schedules

What you need

• 8–16 yrs of experience
• Wiring
• DCS
• SCADA
• Safety management
• AutoCAD
• MATLAB
• B.Tech or B.E.
