Geopolitical Intelligence Analyst - Middle East and North Africa

About the role

The Research Analyst will be responsible for the collection and classification of global security related events (incidences) such as terrorism, crime, geopolitics. The analyst will conduct extensive open-source research in the field of risk and national security to gather open-source intelligence in a structured format.

What you'll do

• Tracking and monitoring approved news sites and other open sources
• Be summarising each event and capture necessary attributes to create structured datasets
• Conduct extensive open-source research in the field of risk and national security to gather open source intelligence in a structured format
• Conduct in-depth quality check of events gathered via automation for duplication and correct classification of various attributes including geocoding

What you need

• 2–5 yrs of experience
