Global Head of Strategic Procurement | Chemicals | India

About the role

The ideal candidate will hold an MBA, preferably combined with a B.Tech/B.E. in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or a related technical discipline , and bring strong strategic procurement experience within the chemical / specialty chemicals industry . Candidates with a combination of strong technical understanding and commercial/business education will be preferred.

What you'll do

• Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies for raw materials and packaging materials across key procurement categories
• Build and strengthen the global supplier pipeline, identifying new sources and opportunities for cost optimization and supply security
• Lead category and segment management initiatives using market intelligence, supplier benchmarking and cost analysis
• Drive procurement process improvement, supplier development and strategic initiatives without direct ownership of transactional purchasing activities

What you need

• 12–22 yrs of experience
• Procurement
• MBA or B.Tech or B.E.
