Head – Accounts & Finance (VP Finance)

About the role

The role needs someone who knows hardware and B2C economics inside out and can run finance and compliance across India, the US, the UK and other markets. It is hands-on, from the weekly payment run to dealing with banks, investors, auditors and tax authorities.

What you'll do

• Hardware and B2C finance (in partnership with supply chain and logistics)
• Maintain product costing and margin analysis, covering COGS, landed cost and gross margin by SKU, channel and market
• Process and approve payments to contract manufacturers and suppliers under agreed terms, and line up cash with supply chain's purchase and production plans
• Build P&L by channel for retail, marketplaces and D2C, accounting for trade terms, co-op marketing, returns, chargebacks and retailer deductions
• Track marketing spend, customer acquisition cost and subscription revenue and renewals for the consumer business
