Head – AIF Fund Accounting

About the role

We are seeking a highly experienced and qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) to lead the Finance, Accounting, Taxation, and Regulatory Compliance functions of our Alternative Investment Fund (AIF) business. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in AIF accounting, fund operations, taxation, investor reporting, financial controls, and SEBI regulations, with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in the AIF industry.

What you'll do

• Lead AIF fund closing activities, including scheme closure, investor exits, final NAV computation, distribution accounting, and fund liquidation processes
• Manage investor redemption, drawdown, capital call, distribution, and investor capital account reconciliation activities
• Perform and review NAV calculations, including management fee, carried interest, performance fee, commission structure, expense allocation, accruals
• Handle investor taxation matters, including pass-through taxation, TDS computation, capital gains reporting, tax certificates
• Ensure accurate accounting and reporting of investor transactions, redemptions, transfers, and distributions
