Head - Quality

About the role

This position ensures the highest quality standards during the operation and maintenance (O&M) stage of the power plant and oversees quality assurance for the retrofit projects (such as Flue Gas Desulfurization (FGD)) area during its project phase, driving continuous improvement and leading a skilled quality team.

What you'll do

• Ensure that quality standards are upheld during the regular operations of the power plant, coordinating with the O&M team to address any quality-related issues
• Conduct regular reviews and field inspections to monitor the quality of Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and C&I supplies and erection work during O&M
• Coordinate field inspections during the erection phase of the FGD area, resolving quality-related issues in collaboration with site teams
• Monitor and evaluate vendor performance in the FGD area, ensuring that supplied materials and executed work align with approved quality plans
• Coordinate inspections of equipment and materials, ensuring adherence to quality requirements and timely resolution of any discrepancies
