About the role

The VP, Sr. Project Manager – Finance Rules Engine Workstream leads the design and delivery of Nomura's centralized global accounting rules engine, consolidating regionally divergent ledger posting logic into a single, auditable, multi-GAAP compliant ruleset. This role owns end-to-end programme accountability from requirements gathering through rules governance, testing, and deployment.

What you'll do

• Create value for the organization by leading complex projects independently, driving regulatory and strategic change initiatives
• Own the project design and delivery right from building the case to delivering the outcomes and enable achievement of strategic goals of the business
• Developing and enhancing relationships with our key stakeholders, understand the business and navigate within the organization to drive programs effectively
• Lead the design of the global Finance rules engine, including rules repository structure, versioning frameworks, approval workflows, and audit trails
• Own rules governance — ensuring every rule change is tracked, approved, and attributable to Finance business rationale
