About the role

A Safety Incharge is responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of employees, contractors, and visitors working in and around the company's facilities, specifically in areas involving high-temperature processes and potentially hazardous materials. The role involves the development, implementation, and management of safety programs and procedures that minimize workplace accidents and health risks.

What you'll do

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve safety policies, procedures, and safety management systems in compliance with local, national
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols during all phases of the refractory manufacturing process, from raw material handling to the final product shipping
• Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and hazard analyses to identify potential safety risks in the refractory production area (e.g.
• Develop strategies to mitigate identified risks and prevent accidents
• Conduct safety training and awareness programs for all employees, including new hires and contractors, focusing on emergency procedures
