About the role

An Infrastructure Engineer for Db2 z/OS is required to support software installation, upgrades, maintenance, 24x7 on-call coverage, disaster recovery testing, automation, monitoring, alerting, and security administration for resilient mainframe database and replication services.

What you'll do

  • Install, upgrade, maintain, test, and support IBM Db2 for z/OS and replication products, including Q Replication, SQL Replication, CDC etc
  • Perform software certification testing and maintain clear operational, maintenance, and recovery procedures
  • Support disaster recovery planning and testing to validate service recoverability and operational resilience
  • Develop and enhance automation, monitoring, alerting, health checks, and operational controls
  • Administer security-related activities, including access controls, RACF coordination, TCP/IP connectivity, and network certificates

What you need

  • 8–10 yrs of experience
