Inhouse Consultant Engineering Applications

About the role

This role is offered on a Contract-to-Hire basis , with an initial pre-defined contractual period. Upon successful completion of this period, the position is intended to transition to Burckhardt Compression’s permanent payroll. Support, administer, and continuously improve engineering applications used across design, manufacturing, and related business functions.

What you'll do

• Act as the technical interface between engineering users, IT teams, software vendors, and other stakeholders
• Provide L2/L3 support for engineering applications and resolve technical/application issues
• Install, configure, upgrade, patch, and maintain engineering software and associated components
• Support applications such as CAD/CAM/CAE, PLM/PDM, plant design, visualization, and manufacturing engineering tools
• Manage software licensing, license servers, configurations, and application access

What you need

• 3–6 yrs of experience
• Root cause analysis
• Mechanical engineering
• Siemens NX
• ANSYS
• Troubleshooting
• Network security
• B.Tech or B.E.

Good to have

• SOP writing
