Inspection Systems (Optics) Engineer

About the role

Activities aimed at proving a concept to be valid or technically feasible by the application of scientific and engineering methodologies. Impacts departmental operations and responsible for planning/execution. The role has some autonomy but is focused on execution of activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures.

What you'll do

• Work in this family typically has the objective of demonstrating through test or analyses the performance and implementation potential of a concept
• Lead the architecture, design, and integration of end-to-end inspection systems, including sensors, electronics, data acquisition, and analytics
• Translate inspection requirements and performance targets into system specifications and test plans
• Own system-level trade-off decisions across hardware, software, and inspection performance
• Develop and implement signal analytics methods for processing, denoising, and interpreting inspection data

What you need

• 2–3 yrs of experience
• Data structures
• IPR
• Test cases
• Any graduate
