About the role

As a Repair Engineering Intern, you will join the dynamic Repair Engineering team at Collins Aerostructures. This role is designed to bridge the gap between academic theory and real-world aerospace application. Leveraging your foundational engineering knowledge, you will undergo structured training to learn how to develop, analyze, and implement technical solutions for commercial Nacelle hardware.

What you'll do

• Interaction with 3D models of different nacelle components
• Extracting composite parameters of different components which will include ply directions, ply thickness
• Working with different in service damages on the nacelle components
• Build and standardize Repair Instructions for standalone repairs for in service damages
• Build Fastener Database for easy selection of alternates
