Intern, Marketing – Market development

About the role

The Intern is responsible for providing & managing strategic and tactical marketing (market penetration, segmentation, and effective EVE tools and launch packages) and platform/product definition for Avient's products and positioning with minimal direction required and demonstrate ability to interact and influence effectively at the managerial peer level.

What you'll do

• Drives profitable growth, gross margin targets as a percentage of sales and gross margin percentage expansion
• Assists in leading the tracking and measuring of key market trends, competitive position, and delivery on specialization strategy
• Assists in leading identification of new ideas and opportunities for growth
• Generating effective sales campaigns, advertising programs and technical literature. Monitors gross margins and profitability against control standards
• Implements the industry’s overall marketing goals. Monitors business results. Updates the Strategic Plan in conjunction with management for their industry
