Internal Audit – Business Process – Senior 1

About the role

The Senior I Business Process Risk and Controls Consultant performs advanced control testing, risk analysis, and issue evaluation. This developing senior-level role supports multiple engagements, independently manages workstreams, and contributes to reporting and remediation planning. Senior I Consultants are emerging leaders who translate business insights into business impact.

What you'll do

• Independently perform and oversee detailed testing of controls for moderately complex and technical processes
• Conduct process walkthroughs and risk assessments , evaluating control design and operating effectiveness against frameworks such as SOX, COSO, and etc
• Identify, analyze, and document control deficiencies, root causes, and risk implications , escalating issues as appropriate
• Draft internal audit reports, executive summaries, and risk assessments that clearly communicate findings, implications
• Supervise and review staff-level professionals in testing execution, workpaper documentation, and adherence to firm methodologies, providing feedback, coaching
