Internal Audit:Head - Gift City Audit

About the role

The Internal Audit Head - IFSC Banking Unit (IBU), GIFT City is the resident audit representative responsible for independently assessing the adequacy and effectiveness of governance, risk management and internal controls across the IBU. The role will plan and execute risk-based audits, regulatory and thematic reviews, monitor closure of audit issues, and provide timely assurance and insights to Central Office Internal Audit and relevant governance forums.

What you'll do

• Own the audit universe and risk assessment for the IBU and prepare a risk-based audit plan for approval by Central Office Internal Audit, considering the nature
• Plan, lead and execute end-to-end audits of the IBU
• Assess compliance with applicable IFSCA regulations and Banking Handbook directions, RBI requirements and other regulations
• Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of controls relating to credit appraisal, sanction, documentation, disbursement, end-use monitoring, covenant compliance
• Review treasury, liquidity and market-risk controls, including dealing-room
