Junior Consultant-Anesthesiology & Pain Management

About the role

To provide safe and effective anaesthesia care to patients undergoing surgical and diagnostic procedures, ensuring appropriate pre-operative assessment, intra-operative anaesthesia management and post-operative monitoring in coordination with the surgical and critical care teams.

What you'll do

• Conduct pre-anaesthesia assessments, review medical history, investigations and identify potential anaesthesia-related risks
• Administer anaesthesia for surgical procedures as per clinical protocols and under appropriate supervision
• Monitor patients' vital signs and maintain haemodynamic stability during procedures
• Provide post-operative care, pain management and recovery monitoring
• Manage anaesthesia-related emergencies, including airway management and resuscitation, as per hospital protocols
