Junior Metallurgist / Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Metallurgist /Engineer to support technical evaluation and process development activities for our Rare Earth Elements (REE) Business Unit. The role will involve assisting with metallurgical process assessments, coordinating laboratory and plant activities, conducting testing and analysis, and maintaining technical documentation.

What you'll do

• Process Evaluation: Support the evaluation of metallurgical processes, extraction methods, separation techniques, and material recovery routes
• Testing & Analysis: Support the analysis of raw materials, concentrates, intermediates, and finished products to assess composition, purity, impurities
• Process Documentation: Prepare and maintain technical reports, laboratory records, test summaries, process evaluation sheets, and other engineering documentation
• Research & Technical Support: Conduct technical research on rare earth processing, extractive metallurgy, hydrometallurgy, and emerging separation technologies
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with senior metallurgists, sourcing, operations, quality

What you need

• 1–3 years in mechanical & production
• Lab testing
• Excel
• Material handling
• B.Tech or B.E. or M.Tech
