About the role

Apprentice Trainee Assist in food production by washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits according to required specifications such as dicing, slicing, and julienne. Ensure proper portioning while minimizing wastage and follow daily preparation schedules assigned by the supervisor. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of cutting areas, utensils, and tools before, during, and after work.

What you'll do

• Ensure proper portioning while minimizing wastage and follow daily preparation schedules assigned by the supervisor
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of cutting areas, utensils, and tools before, during, and after work
• Follow strict hygiene and food safety standards including hand washing, gloves, hairnets, and aprons
• Use knives safely and report any injuries
• Support kitchen staff with basic preparation and maintain discipline, teamwork, and efficiency in daily operations
