Kitchen Steward

About the role

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Steward to support the kitchen team by maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and organisation throughout the kitchen and back-of-house areas. The successful candidate will ensure that all kitchen equipment, utensils, crockery and work areas are clean, sanitised and ready for use, while supporting the kitchen team during daily operations.

What you'll do

• Wash and clean all kitchen equipment, utensils, pots, pans, crockery and cutlery
• Operate dishwashing and cleaning equipment safely and correctly
• Keep kitchen, washing-up and back-of-house areas clean and organised
• Clean floors, walls, work surfaces, sinks and other kitchen areas as required
• Assist chefs with maintaining a clean and organised kitchen during service
