Lead Developer - Chennai 2026

About the role

We are seeking a Lead Developer to launch and run a software team at our brand-new site in Chennai, India. You will manage and guide a team of up to 5 developers, play a key role in hiring, and shape the team’s growth. The role is split 50/50 between hands-on development and technical leadership / management.

What you'll do

• As a Lead Developer, you will report to the Head of Technology (based in London)
• Leading the development of new features and platform improvements
• Managing, mentoring and motivating team members
• Liaising with UK based stakeholders and ensuring team alignment with business and technical objectives
• Planning, coordinating and delivering technical projects to the agreed schedule

What you need
