About the role

Lead Electronic Hardware Engineer (PCB Layout) at Emerson. Be.

What you'll do

  • Create and maintain PCB component libraries, including schematic symbols, PCB footprints
  • Extract mechanical, electrical, thermal, and assembly-related information from component datasheets to develop accurate library parts and design constraints
  • Validate component footprints and land patterns against manufacturer recommendations and applicable IPC standards
  • Design and develop high-density multilayer PCB layouts (6-22 layers) for analog, digital, mixed-signal, and power electronics designs
  • Define PCB stack-ups, component placement, routing strategies, and design constraints

What you need
