Lead- Finance (Operational Accounting)

About the role

As an Lead - Finance, you will support the accuracy and integrity of US Finance by monitoring cash clearing, control and suspense accounts, investigating unmatched transactions, preparing reconciliations and journal entries, and resolving issues with Business Unit partners.

What you'll do

• Monitor cash clearing and control accounts, including relevant accounts maintained outside Frontier, and identify unmatched, offsetting, aged or unusual transactions
• Investigate outstanding transactions, determine likely root causes, obtain supporting information, and coordinate timely resolution with Business Unit partners
• Prepare accurate monthly balance-sheet reconciliations with complete supporting documentation and clear explanations of reconciling items
• Prepare standard and approved non-standard manual journal entries with appropriate support and approvals
• Review business activity and reports to identify patterns, breaks or control concerns, and escalate issues with clear facts, impact and recommended next steps
