About the role

We are seeking an experienced Lead Firmware Test Automation Engineer to lead the automation and validation strategy for OpenBMC firmware across enterprise server and storage platforms. This role will be responsible for architecting scalable automation frameworks, establishing validation methodologies, driving CI/CD integration, and ensuring firmware quality throughout the product lifecycle.

  • Define and drive automation strategies for OpenBMC validation activities
  • Lead the design and implementation of scalable automation frameworks and validation infrastructure
  • Improve firmware quality, reliability, and release efficiency through automation
  • Drive technical decisions related to validation architecture, test coverage, and CI/CD integration
  • Partner with firmware development teams to improve product quality and accelerate delivery
