Lead Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

This role will lead the design, development, and engineering of enterprise observability solutions supporting application performance monitoring, distributed tracing, telemetry collection, and AI-enabled operational intelligence. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership for cloud-native observability platforms including Splunk Observability Cloud (SPLOC), AppDynamics, Dynatrace, OpenTelemetry, and related telemetry services.

What you'll do

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise observability and distributed tracing solutions
• Design and develop cloud-native applications, APIs, and services using Java, Spring Boot, and modern microservices architectures
• Build scalable telemetry platforms and services supporting enterprise monitoring, tracing, and performance analytics
• Design and implement OpenTelemetry instrumentation standards, frameworks, and telemetry collection architectures
• Develop and maintain tracing pipelines, collectors, gateways, and associated observability infrastructure
