About the role

The Lead IT Data Modeler takes a leadership role in crafting data models and architectures that meet current business needs and are scalable for future challenges. They provide advanced mentorship to junior and senior data modelers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in data management.

What you'll do

• Proficiency in the fundamentals of data modeling, including entity-relationship diagrams (ERDs), data flow diagrams, and dimensional modeling
• Proficient in complex SQL queries, common table expressions, and optimization techniques for managing and querying large datasets
• Capability to mentor junior data modelers and provide leadership in data modeling initiatives
• Expertise in designing data models that cover the entire enterprise, ensuring data consistency and alignment with business processes
• Develop and execute data strategies that align with the organization's business objectives and long-term data needs
