About the role
A successful Lead Legal should have: A law degree from a recognized institution, with at-least ten years of experience Proven expertise in the energy and natural resources industry.
What you'll do
- Manage the organization's legal framework and ensure compliance with industry regulations and laws
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents
- Provide strategic legal advice to senior management on corporate governance and risk mitigation
- Oversee dispute resolution processes, including arbitration and litigation matters
- Monitor regulatory changes and ensure the company's policies are updated accordingly
